Happiness index of India ranks on 126, means among other countries we are at 126th place as per the happiness index. It shows that India is not the happy place to live as compared to other countries. Why? As day by day we are experiencing surrounding temperature is rising. Heat wave making country poor. Because productivity get decreases as the heat wave increased. It shows the proportional relation. In India 75% people are doing their work in outside or in open environment. Due to heat wave work environment becoming worse for them. It affects the productivity.
2022 recorded as hottest year than before 122 years.
2023 recorder as hotter than 2022 and
2024 is again recorded as hotter than year 2023.
In west, countries are fighting with each other. Burning tons of explosives, we are using electricity and giving more and more load on electrical system. Ultimately that electricity is getting generated in thermal power plants by burning coal and atomic material.we are using vehicles, planes, ships by burning again fuel. Where all this heat goes? Ultimately into the environment.
In big cities glass material is fixed on outer wall of the buildings. It results in heat trapping as it reflects the light reverse to the surface or surrounding again increasing surrounding temperature.
5 degree above main temperature or temperature exceeding 40 degrees declared as heat wave. But what is happening if temperature is crossing up to 49.9 degrees or more than that in some parts of the country.In Mumbai it is if 38 degrees means its heat index is up to 53 degrees due to humidity is more in that place.
It is affecting the EL- Nino and LA- Nina effects of the wind circulation on the earth. Effecting floods in Brazil, Dubai. Draught in South Africa etc.
We are just taking from the environment and not even try to return it. We are rising environmental temperature by all the means which effects in melting polar glaciers results in rising ocean water level.
We easily can experience temperature difference in different parts of the city where number of tree plantation are less or more.
Active participation should be there between people and government. In Maharashtra Shri. Sudhir Mungantivar was when environmental minister tried to plant much trees in the state. But after next government no such initiative is shown in interest and also peoples have became silent. We political people used to plant trees on environmental day for taking photographs and showing just on records. But no-one is taking care of the plants after plantation. We are cutting crores of trees for development projects, widening roads. One tree takes about 25 years to grown up and cutting within minutes. Showing some samplings in place of that as a plantation target completion by the contractor but no use of that. It doesn’t grow well like the tree before or dies due to lack of care and cattle eating. Everyone forget about tree plantation as summer goes. But the environment will remember your all the activities and will again returns you in very bad manner.
So everyone should decide to plant trees in every monsoon and take care of them. Trees like Karanj, Bel, Neem grows well and cattle also do not eat Karanj and Bel plants. So we can plant such trees in open land also.
Ultimately tree plantation and less energy consumption is the only way to save the earth for our future generations.
